Two côtes, one day
Vineyards: Nuits-Saint-Georges, Gevrey-Chambertin, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet
For an oenological stay in Burgundy, this is the ideal day: at 9am, your chauffeur-guide collects you from your hotel and heads for the Côte de Nuits, from Nuits-Saint-Georges to Gevrey-Chambertin. On the way, they explain what makes Burgundy what it is: the grape varieties, the terroirs, the Climats and the rhythm of the vine through the seasons.
After lunch, it is on to the Côte de Beaune, from Pommard to Puligny-Montrachet.
Two tastings with local family winemakers, followed by a food and wine pairing lunch: 10 to 14 wines in all, including the six at lunch.
Lunch is included in the price: it is served with 6 wines paired with the dishes: 1 Regional, 1 Village, 1 Premier Cru, 3 Grands Crus (menu below). Return to your hotel around 5pm.
